Root canal treatment offers our dentist, Dr. Kazemi, the ability to save a tooth severely damaged by dental decay or disease. When the root of a tooth dies, permanent tooth loss will occur unless a patient undergoes a root canal. Fortunately, a root canal can save the tooth and prevent a patient from developing the type of oral health problems that occur due to tooth loss.

During treatment, Dr. Kazemi will remove the pulp of a tooth and clean out the interior cavity. Once prepared, the tooth is filled and then sealed. A dental crown, or cap, is then placed over the tooth to restore its form and function.  After the completing treatment, a patient’s tooth will look and feel just like it did before.
